About Us

In late 2018, Tamworth City Toyota came under its current ownership, headed by Dealer Principal, Tim Easey. Tim was born, raised and did his trade as a vehicle mechanic in nearby Quirindi. Seeking wider opportunities, Tim joined Toyota Australia and worked his way up the corporate ladder, becoming Regional Manager of Northern Region (Queensland) and General Manager for Eastern Region (NSW). He had a stint in Japan where he absorbed the Japanese & Toyota cultures, including loyalty, innovation and customer service. It was this combination of a country upbringing and corporate career that gave Tim the foundations to spearhead Tamworth City Toyota through its next stage of development.

Tamworth City Toyota has now grown to be a large local employer, with a workforce of over 60 employees contributing to the economy of Tamworth. Our committed team of individuals aim to exceed customer expectations at every touch point. We are a proud supporter in the growth and development of our people with many apprentices and trainees across our company. We believe in traditional values like Service, Respect, Teamwork, and Innovation. It is these values which form the heart of our business in achieving the “Drive the Feeling” moments for our customers.

This award is for the highest level of achievement given to members of the Australian Toyota Dealership Network. Tamworth City Toyota has outgrown its current site, so 2026 will be an exciting year as construction continues at our new dealership located within the Global Gateway Park. We look forward to welcoming you to a state-of-the-art dealership experience when we open the doors in late 2026.
